Warranty & Guarantees

Warranty

All products used in our projects are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. As these warranties are provided by third-party manufacturers, PP&R is not responsible for any defects, claims, or replacements covered under their terms. Customers must refer to the respective manufacturer’s policies for warranty-related concerns.

Examples

  1. Defective Flooring Material – If a batch of flooring material has manufacturing defects (e.g., warping, cracking, or peeling prematurely), the manufacturer’s warranty applies, and the customer must file a claim with the manufacturer.
  2. Faulty Roofing Shingles – If roofing shingles start deteriorating faster than expected due to a defect in production, the warranty claim must be directed to the shingle manufacturer.
  3. Malfunctioning Fixtures or Appliances – If an installed sink faucet or lighting fixture stops working due to an internal defect, the customer must contact the manufacturer for a replacement or repair.

Guarantees

PP&R stands behind the quality of our services. If any material used in reconstruction, remodeling, or related services—whether commercial or residential—fails within 1 to 12 months after completion, we will send a professional to inspect the issue.

  • If the failure is determined to be due to faulty material or improper installation, PP&R will cover both material and labor costs to correct the issue.
  • If the failure is due to misuse, accidental damage, or incorrect application, the customer is responsible for covering the cost of new materials. We can either:
    • Source the materials on behalf of the customer and charge accordingly.
    • Allow the customer to purchase the materials themselves.
    • Labor costs for repairs in these cases will be the customer’s responsibility.

Our goal is to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while maintaining transparency and fairness in our guarantees.

Examples from the Guarantees.

Failures Covered by PP&R (Due to Faulty Material or Installation Errors):

  1. Tiles Loosening or Cracking Within 12 Months – If bathroom or kitchen tiles start coming loose or cracking due to improper installation (e.g., insufficient adhesive or incorrect placement), PP&R will fix the issue at no cost.
  2. Roof Leaks Due to Poor Sealing – If a recently installed or repaired roof begins leaking due to improperly sealed flashing, PP&R will inspect and fix it for free.
  3. Cabinet or Door Misalignment – If newly installed kitchen cabinets or doors do not close properly because they were not correctly aligned, PP&R will correct the issue.

Failures Not Covered (Due to Misuse, Accidental Damage, or Incorrect Application):

  1. Water Damage from Customer Error – If a customer spills excessive water on hardwood flooring, causing it to warp, PP&R is not responsible for replacement costs.
  2. Cracked Countertop from Heavy Impact – If a customer drops a heavy object (e.g., a cast-iron pan) on a granite countertop, causing it to crack, repairs or replacement will be at the customer’s expense.
  3. Damage from Unauthorized Modifications – If a homeowner or tenant attempts to modify or move installed cabinets, causing them to loosen or break, they will be responsible for repair costs.
  4. Accidental Wall Damage – If a homeowner accidentally drills into a newly finished wall, damaging the drywall and paint, PP&R will not cover the repair under its guarantee.
